Description

The MS-101 exam is the final of the three exams in the Microsoft 365 Certified Enterprise Administrator Expert certification. It tests against the mobility and security features that make up a Microsoft 365 subscription. It's also a rather curious exam that explores these components at a level that's a mile wide and an inch deep.

In this course, Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security: Introduction, the first of four in this learning path, you'll be introduced to the mission for this learning path. First, you'll explore the Microsoft certification details. Next, you'll learn about the MS-101 exam and required prerequisite knowledge. Finally, you'll discover how to prepare your lab environment. By the end of this course, you'll be aligned with the MS-101 certification, and be able to explore the virtual machines and M365 tenant you'll want to provision as you follow along.

Course Overview
Hey, this is Greg Shields, and you've found the first course of my learning path on the Microsoft 365 topics and technologies that comprise the MS‑101 exam. I am author evangelist and a full‑time author here at Pluralsight, and I've been building Microsoft certification‑related courses since the original days of the first generation MCSE. The MS‑101 exam is the final of the three in the Microsoft 365 Certified Enterprise Administrator Expert certification. It tests against the mobility and security features that make up a Microsoft 365 subscription. It's also a rather curious exam that explores these components at a level that's a mile wide and an inch deep. In this first course out of four, I'll be introducing the mission for our learning path here. We'll discuss these course's alignment with the MS‑101 certification and explore the virtual machines and M365 tenant that you'll want to provision if you plan on following along. If you've just been tasked with managing a Microsoft 365 environment, this course is your first stop in brushing up on those skills for success. And then from here, you'll be ready to continue on the learning path as we explore modern device services, dig into security and threat management, and understand the topics in governance and compliance. Let's get started.
