Course Overview
(cheerful music) Hi everyone, my name is Florian Girardot, I'm a digital compositer, motion designer, and digital artist. My latest projects include feature films such as Godzilla or Despicable Me 2. In this course, we are going to have a fresh look at Nuke as you never had before. Yes, we are going to use it to do motion graphics. Whoa. A lot of people think that Nuke is not the best tool for that, but I'm sure that by the end of the course, you will agree that this is an awesome tool. Since a couple of years, Nuke has improved a lot regarding its 3D workspace and animation features. And we will learn how to take advantage of that. We will create everything from scratch in Nuke to achieve a stunning motion title. The main topics will cover how to create, animate, displace shade and light geometry directly inside Nuke, how to create and animate text using the powerful text node and its animation layers. We will learn how easy it is to use dope sheet to organize our key frames. Then, we will use all the elements we created directly inside Nuke to layout a nice looking shot. By the end of the lessons, you guys will have a bunch of strong creative techniques you will be able to use in your own motion graphics projects. You will have a good understanding about 3D and text. This will open to you a new world of creative possibilities. I'm really excited to share this knowledge with you guys, so let's get started.
