Course Overview Hi, my name is Jason Durfee, and welcome to my course called Onshape Essentials Revolves, Sweeps and Lofts. I'm a mechanical engineer at Durfee Engineering. I have over 20 years of experience using many different CAD systems. In this course, I'm going to teach you how to use Onshape. Why should you use Onshape? Because Onshape is the greatest CAD software since CAD went from wire frame to 3D parametric models. Onshape is a fully web based CAD system, so you can use it on your computer, your cellphone, your tablet, anywhere you have an internet connection, so, you're definitely going to want to learn how to use the CAD system. Some of the major topics that we're going to cover in this course are, how to use revolves, we use revolves to create resistors and wire terminals. We're going to use sweeps. Sweeps we can use to create wires and hose routings. We're going to also learn lofts, and we're going to use lofts, how to create docs and box features. By the end of this course, you'll learn how to create very interesting and complex CAD models, using revolves, sweeps and lofts.
