Course Overview
Hi, everyone. My name is Justin Frazier, and welcome to my course, Introduction to Onshape. I'm a design engineer at LectraHeat Ltd. and a maker of things. In this course, we will learn how to use this groundbreaking software and discover why CAD is so much better when used in the cloud. We'll make our free Onshape account and dive into major topics, including part design, assemblies, professional drawings, and cloud-based collaboration. By the end of this course, you'll know how to model and draw complex parts, assemblies and anything you can think of. But it gets better. You'll be able to share your design with anyone who has a computer, cellphone or a tablet and even work with them in the cloud as you wish. Whether you're inexperienced in CAD or a user of another program, Onshape is the program for you. Before beginning the course, you should be familiar with basic 3D CAD and its uses. From here, you'll be able to use your free account to further develop your design skills and even use your models for 3D printing, simulation, manufacturing and more. I hope you'll join me on this journey to learn 3D CAD using Onshape with the Introduction to Onshape course at Pluralsight.
