Throughout these lessons, we will learn how to paint a realistic environment concept within a short period of time. We will start by creating thumbnails in a very unique way, then we will explore different ways of generating mood and color. By the end of this training you will have learned many new tips and tricks in order to quickly generate environment concept art. Software required: Photoshop CS5.

Introduction and Project Overview
Hi everyone! My name is Atey Ghailan. I'm a free-lance concept artist illustrator, and among the most recent projects that I worked on is Injustice: Gods Among Us, Legend of the Cryptids, Galaxy Saga, Project Spark, Star Citizen, just to name a few, and in this course we're going to cover how to do a realistic environment concept. Some of the major topics we'll be discussing is silhouette, and how you can use it very efficiently, the importance of thumbnails, mood and color, and how to wrap up a concept to a presentable stage. By the end of the training, hopefully you'll have a more reliable workflow, and solid approach to your concept work, and a few new tricks as well to help you along the way. So let's get started with the first lesson.
