In this course, Mastering Data Visualization with R, you will learn how to answer questions about your data by creating advanced data visualizations with R. Course Overview
Hi, I'm Matthew Renze with Pluralsight, and welcome to Mastering Data Visualization with R. R is a very popular programming language for data analysis and data visualization. Its interactive programming capabilities, powerful data analysis tools, and data visualization capabilities, make it many experts' first choice for creating professional data visualizations. In this course, you'll learn how to create and interpret data visualizations involving a variety of types of data. In addition, we'll create both animated data visualizations and interactive data visualizations as well. As an overview of this course, first we'll learn how to create and interpret data visualizations that involve spatial data, hierarchal data, graph and network data, and textual data. Then we'll learn how to create animated data visualizations. Finally, we'll learn how to create web-based interactive data visualizations using a framework called Shiny. By the end of this course, you'll have the skills necessary to create and interpret a variety of data visualizations using R. Before beginning this course, it's recommended that you have basic experience using R to create data visualizations. If you do not meet these prerequisites, please feel free to watch my previous course on Pluralsight titled Beginning Data Visualization with R. Visualizing Spatial Data
