Course Overview
Hi everyone. My name is Andrew Crouthamel and welcome to my course, RF Fundamentals for Cisco CCNA Wireless WIFUND 200-355. I'm a senior network engineer and educator. Cisco forecasts 30. 6 exabytes per month of mobile data traffic by 2020. It's five times what is transmitted today. This is course is an introduction to radio frequency and wireless standards. It is course 1 of 7 of the CCNA Wireless learning path. Some of the major topics that we will cover include: RF signals and modulation, RF standards, signals interference and behavior, and an introduction to antennas. By the end of this course you'll know the fundamentals of RF, what they are and how they're used as well as how they act in the real world. Before beginning the course you should be familiar with basic network technology or have your CCNA certification. From here you should feel comfortable diving into the rest of the CCNA wireless learning path.
