Cyber Security Awareness: Safer Digital Communications

Tom Tobiassen

Tom has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland. He has spent 42 years working in information systems with Digital Equipment Corporation, Lockheed Martin, and now Zeta Associates, Inc. Tom’s experience includes computer systems hardware design, construction, customer service, software engineering, network engineering and support, and most recently cyber security. Tom is currently responsible for the cyber security hardening of advanced signals processing systems... more being developed and delivered to the U.S. Air Force used for communications training. He holds advanced U.S. Government required DoD 8570 cyber security certifications – Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Tom also teaches Information System Auditor training to aspiring IT professionals.
