Course Overview Hi everyone. Steve Buchanan here, and welcome to my course, SAP on Azure: The Big Picture. I'm a cloud architect and have been a part of several SAP on Azure projects. This course will teach you a core understanding of SAP, the various cloud hosting options for SAP, and core knowledge for hosting SAP specifically on Azure. In this course, you will learn how to plan for SAP on Azure regardless of migrating or doing a greenfield. You will also learn about the different SAP components and its architecture along with best practices when hosting SAP on Azure. Some of the major topics that we will cover include exposure to the various options for hosting SAP and cloud with an in‑depth look at hosting SAP on AWS, GCP, and Azure, an overview of SAP products, technical components, and it's architecture, moving you from little knowledge about SAP itself to having core knowledge needed to be effective on SAP on Azure projects. You will learn the phases of SAP on Azure projects, the differences between SAP migrations and greenfield deployments, the various ways you can deploy SAP to Azure, and you will gain knowledge of SAP on Azure best practices. And finally, we will leave you with a demo deploying an SAP S/4HANA instance into Azure. By the end of this course, you will have the key knowledge needed to be a part of an SAP on Azure project. Before beginning this course, you should be familiar with general SAP concepts and products, cloud technologies, especially Infrastructure as a Service, and general Azure architecture. I hope you'll join me on this journey to learn about the big picture in this SAP on Azure course at Pluralsight.
