Building an SPA Using Spring Framework 5 and Angular
Angular has become the front-end framework of choice for many. In this course, you will learn how to build a full stack app using these technologies.
What you'll learn
This course introduces the Spring and Angular Frameworks. For server-side code, Java and the Spring Framework provide possibly the best back-end foundation for REST APIs and Data access. In this course, Building an SPA Using Spring Framework 5 and Angular, you will learn the core aspects of Spring by coding through the basics with a sample application. First, you will learn the stand-alone architecture of Spring Boot: No more containers and XML files and your app runs as a pure Java app and can be deployed in any environment that runs Java, including cloud platforms. Second, you will understand how to use Spring MVC to build REST APIs. Finally, you will be able to use Spring Data JPA to communicate with a relational database. From there, you’ll jump over to front end coding and learn how to setup an Angular app from scratch and build out all the views and actions to tie it to the backend Spring code appropriately. When you are finished with this course, you’ll have a solid full stack understanding of Angular and Spring and how they can work together.
