About the author
Stephen Allott is an IT Professional who has specialised in software testing and quality assurance methods and techniques since 1995. A graduate of the University of Leeds, and a software developer in the telco and financial sectors for 8 years, Stephen was awarded Chartered IT Professional Fellowship of the British Computer Society in 2009 (FBCS CITP). Stephen was one of the original members of the information systems examination board (ISEB, now ISTQB) assisting with the development of the syl... morelabus and the foundation level examinations in software testing. He’s also qualified to teach the advanced level syllabus. A confident public speaker, Stephen has presented at international testing conferences in the USA, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. His most recent roles have involved developing & delivering an 8-week foundation level training course in software testing for IT graduates plus online and face to face deliveries of 2-day introductory level courses in Agile software testing.
