What you'll learn

In this course, we will learn to use the Decimation Master to export high resolution models from ZBrush. When building models in ZBrush, you may want to take your sculpted mesh into another application for number of reasons such as the opportunity to create a nice render using mental ray or RenderMan or to calculate your normal or displacement maps in another application. The Decimation Master plug-in will allow you to reduce the poly count of your sculpts in ZBrush while visually retaining all of the high resolution detail in the model. In this course, we'll go over everything you need to know to get up and running with this powerful plug-in. Software required: ZBrush 3.1 and up.
