Description

In this series of lessons, we will learn how to use the Lagoa Multiphysics system in Softimage to create appealing dynamics simulations. Using Lagoa, we can give our particle clouds physical properties and then solve our scene using a variety of different physics algorithms. We will begin this project by learning how to create Lagoa simulations using the Create menu presets. We will then learn about the four essential parts of a Lagoa ICE tree. We will then learn some of the force and accuracy settings we can use to control our simulation. After that, we will get into the heart of the Lagoa system, the Lagoa Main Material. We spend several lessons breaking down each aspect of the material, as different settings can create completely different looks and particle interactions. We will then learn some tips and tricks for working with Lagoa in Softimage including viewing an ICE cache as it simulates, using the Polygonizer to create a mesh around our particles, and how to use the Lagoa Fluid Shaper to create a more realistic fluid. Finally, we will learn how to apply Cached Sim Post Effects to changed our particle cloud without re-simulating. Software required: Softimage 2011 Subscription Advantage Pack and up.

Introduction and Project Overview
[Autogenerated] Hello, I'm Chris with digital tutors Autodesk Authorized Publisher Theme This serious Weston's will learn how to use the logo multi physics system in soft image to create appealing dynamic simulation Using logo, we can give our particle clouds physical properties, then solve our seniors in a variety of different physics. Algorithms will begin this project by learning how to create logos simulations using the create menu presets well, then learn about the four essential parts of a logo. A ice tree. Well, then learn some of the force and accuracy settings we can use to control our simulation. Well, then get into the heart of the logo. A system, the logo. A main material. We spent several lessons breaking down each aspect of the material as different settings can create completely different looks and particle interactions. Well, then learn some tips and tricks for working with logo and soft image, including viewing an ice cash as it simulates, using the polygamy nizer to create a mesh around our particles and how to use the logo a fluid shaper to create a more realistic fluid. Finally, we'll learn howto apply cash sim post of X to add or remove detail from our cash. This series of lessons gives you a great understanding of the logo, a system and how you can use it to create various physical based effects. Using logo will allow us to create amazing particle simulations using physics such as elasticity, pressure and viscosity while maintaining a much higher degree of physical accuracy. So with that, let's go ahead and get started.
