Introduction and Project Overview
Hi everyone, my name is Matthew Choy. I come from a generalist background and worked at various studios on TV commercials and feature projects. In this course, we are going to learn how to create a VFX environment. Some of the key takeaways from watching this course include learning how to use Photoshop to put together a set of photographs into a panorama shot, tuning up and prepping the shot for camera projections, how to use Nuke to set up a camera projection tree, how to use Maya to create the geometries for projection to texture painting and UV setup, how to bake or convert projection into workable textures in Mari, and finally, how to put them together. By the end of the training, you will have learned how to create a VFX environment. I'm excited to work with Digital-Tutors and share these techniques with you. So let's get started with the first lesson.
