Hi everyone, my name is Johan Arwidmark. Welcome to my course: Deploying Windows 10 Anniversary Edition, version 1607, using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, or MDT for short.

I am the Chief Technology Officer with TrueSec, and I basically spend my time travelling this blue planet of ours, helping customers implement Windows Deployment and Systems Management solutions.

In this course I will share my notes from the field with you, and you will learn about:

1. Planning for a Windows 10 deployment, including what has changed in the 1607 release of both Windows 10 and Windows ADK 10.
2. Creating Windows 10 reference images in an automated fashion, with quality. Simply creating that perfect image.
3. Setting up MDT for production ready deployments.
4. Common customizations that organizations are doing with the Windows 10 image, such as customizing the Start menu, taskbar, removing built-in applications, and using AppLocker with Windows 10.

By the end of this course you’ll know how to setup a deployment solution for Windows 10 1607, using MDT.

Before beginning the course, you should be familiar with Windows deployment scenarios, imaging, sysprep, drivers and basic server management. It is also helps having some experience in MDT, but it’s not a requirement.

I hope you’ll join me on a journey to learn about Windows 10 deployment using this course at Pluralsight. Thanks for watching.
