Introduction and Project Overview (Lively music) Hi everybody, my name is Michael Calver. I'm a 3D designer and consultant for an array of clients including Red Bull Racing, the University of Leeds as well as a selection of other blue chip companies. My latest project include an array of high-level simulation tools, photorealistic design and development work for retail stores in the UK as well as a selection of augmented and virtual reality design projects. In this course, we're going to see it in lighting in Unity 5 to create stunning visuals in a real-time environment. Some of the major topics that I'll be discussing in this course will include how to correctly configure in lighting, reflection probes and light probes, we're going to take a look at Unity 5 shaders, how to balance equality and performance and also how to blend a light in real-time GI with purse effects to create stunning visuals. By the end of the training, you should be able to assemble high quality Unity projects to deliver quality visuals within a real-time environment. Unity uses over high fidelity visuals in a very short space of time within an environment with instant feedback. I'm excited to share these tips and techniques with you, so let's get started with the first lesson.
