Hey everyone. My name is Alice Meredith. Welcome to my course, Becoming a Change Leader. We are in the midst of rapid change everywhere we look. Change comes at us from every direction, both in our work environments and in our personal lives. At work, accelerated customer expectations, a changing work force, and ever‑expanding advancements in technology have all companies scrambling to stay relevant. This continual change has elevated the need for all people leaders to ensure their change leadership capabilities are refined and defined to best help their teams transition and stay engaged in our ever‑changing environments. In this course, we'll review key leadership behaviors and learn skills that are essential to ensure you find success when leading change. First, you'll learn about mindset and how a leader's mindset determines whether you find success with change or not. I'll next deep dive leadership behaviors that are key in the work of inspiring and leading others through change. You'll learn to be more decisive when leading change. I'll then review essential skills to help you support yourself and your team through the motions of change, skills that will help you improve your ability to lead change.
