Search is so easy for users to use, and they almost expect it in every application. On the other hand, it can be so difficult to build; that simple text box in your application can mean so much work if you have to do it all by yourself. In this course, Implementing a Microsoft Azure Cognitive Search Solution, will help you solve the search dilemma using Azure Search - a cloud-hosted search-as-a-service platform that helps you build compelling search solutions with your data. This powerful capability is not only easy to use, but paired with Cognitive Skills it can help you unlock amazing insights in your unstructured data. At the end of this course, you will feel comfortable with the basic usage of Azure search, plugging in Cognitive Skills in the search pipeline, and administering Azure Search.

Course Overview
Hello. My name is Sahil Malik, and welcome to my course, Implementing a Microsoft Azure Cognitive Search Solution. Search is very important. Users love it because it's easy, but it's not easy for the developer or the IT pro. What is so easy to use for the user can actually be so complex for us to implement. Well, no more. Azure Cognitive Search is a cloud‑hosted search as a service solution that lets you create your own private search corpus, in which you can push documents or have Azure Cognitive Search pull documents. You can even enhance it with the power of artificial intelligence using cognitive skills. In this course, I show you how you can leverage Azure Search by building a simple private search corpus. We'll just use the Northwind database, although the concepts are universal. I then show you how you can enhance the search pipeline with the power of artificial intelligence and cognitive skills. Then we go through SDKs and APIs available to understand the developer story. And then finally, we wrap up with administration aspects of search. By the end of this course, you will have a firm grasp on the capabilities of Azure Cognitive Search, and how to effectively leverage and manage it in your organization and your applications. Azure Cognitive Search present you with tremendous value with a very gentle learning curve. I hope you find this course useful, and thank you very much for watching.
