Description
Office 365 provides a versatile and powerful suite of tools that allows you to access content anywhere, anytime, and from almost any device. In this course, Planning, Configuring, and Monitoring O365 Clients and Devices, you'll be introduced to different types of products, features, and functionality that's necessary to manage and deploy a suite of products from Office 365 to your users and devices. First, you'll explore the two primary deployment options; user-based and IT-based, and what tools you'll have as an IT Pro to configure, control, and manage the deployment of products like Office 365 ProPlus. Next, you'll discover the Telemetry Dashboard available for Office 365, and learn how to monitor and analyze the use of products like ProPlus. Finally, you'll dive deeper into the components of the dashboard that are used to gather, process, and store all of this information for viewing through worksheets that contain information that can be filtered. By the end of this course, you’ll have the necessary knowledge to take full advantage of both the Telemetry Dashboard and Telemetry Log, along with all the deployment options available to deploy your own 0365 apps.

Course Overview
Hi everyone, my name is Brian Alderman, and welcome to my course: Planning, Configuring, and Monitoring O365 Clients and Devices. I'm a Microsoft MVP, a Microsoft Certified Trainer, an MCT, for 20 consecutive years, which means I've done lots of training. I'm an author of four published books; my latest two are MS Press SharePoint books. I'm also a speaker at several SharePoint and Office 365 conferences around the world, and I provide consulting from my own company called MicroTechPoint. Now as an IT pro, configuring the Office 365 tenant and its applications is just the beginning of a deployment. The next big step is to ensure the users have access to all the apps and services provided by Office 365, and it's important to understand the different ways to manage and control these deployments. So what we'll do in this course is introduce and discuss deployment methods used to deploy the Office 365 apps, including user driven and IT based deployment options. We'll look at mobile devices that are supported by these apps, and we'll look at tools used to manage and control the deployment of these Office 365 apps with a primary focus on ProPlus, and we'll wrap it up by exploring the telemetry service available on Office 365, along with its components and how it could be used to analyze your Office 365 ProPlus and on premise deployments. By the end of the course, you'll know the deployment options available for deploying Office 365 apps, how to configure, control, and manage these deployments, and how to analyze and monitor the deployments using the telemetry service. Before beginning the course, you should be familiar with Office 365 and have an Office 365 tenant that you can use to perform these deployment options and service configurations as you learn them. I hope you'll join me on this journey to learn about Office 365 clients and devices, with the Planning, Configuring, and Monitoring O365 Clients and Devices course, at Pluralsight.
