What you'll learn

Play by Play is a series in which top technologists work through a problem in real-time, unrehearsed, and unscripted. In this course, Play by Play: Mastering Salesforce Metadata Merge Strategies, Matt Kaufman and Don Robins take a deep dive into the behind-the-scenes metadata that powers Salesforce, and strategize a solution to a real-world scenario where they must extract both application metadata and business data from a source Salesforce org and merge it with a separate target Salesforce org. They discuss leading tactics, tools used, common pitfalls, useful best practices, and the challenges faced.
