Chelsea Pierre

Chelsea Pierre is a veteran of the United States Air Force who has worked in the area of network and cyber security for over ten years. It should be noted that Chelsea has worked in the tech sector in a number of environments, including the Department of Defense (DoD), the Department of Homeland Security, casinos, and auto manufacturing facilities. A few of the technologies Chelsea has operated during her career include F5 Loadbalancers, ELK Stack, Cisco FirePower, Juniper SRX Firewalls, and multiple SIEM tools (Solarwinds, Splunk, etc.). In addition, Chelsea has worked in Information Assurance as an Information System Security Officer and has created requirement reports, cyber audit reports, and risk analysis reports. With her commitment to educating and motivating the next generation of IT professionals, she has spoken at several technology conferences and taught DoD training courses focusing on cyber defense. A graduate of Troy University with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Computer Science, Chelsea is currently enrolled at Auburn University where she is pursuing a double Master of Science in Information Systems Management and Executive MBA with a Cyber Security Management focus. Currently, Chelsea is an adjunct professor of information technology and owns a computer and electronic repair store. As part of her work with local colleges and universities, she provides internship opportunities for students.
