Creating a Variable

• Use Get-AzResource and assign its output to a variable named $Resources.

Use the instructions below to complete the task.

1. Log in to the Azure Portal using the provided credentials.

2. Navigate to the Cloud Shell, using the >_ icon in the toolbar.

3. Make sure to use PowerShell for the Cloud Shell.

4. Create the variable and assign the cmdlet.

   $Resources = Get-AzResource
   

Create a Variable to Show Today's Date and Display the Variable

Use these instructions to complete the task

1. Create a variable named $Today and assign (Get-Date).DateTime to it.

   $Today = (Get-Date).DateTime
   

2. Display the date.

   $Today
   

Display a List of Azure Resources and Filter the Results Based on Kind and Location

Use the instructions below to complete the task

1. Display the Azure resources using the variable.

   $Resources
   

2. Display the Azure resources in a list format.

   $Resources | Format-List
   

3. Filter the list to show only resources with the Kind equals Storage.

   $Resources | Where-Object {$_.Kind -eq 'Storage'}
   

4. Filter the list to show only resources with the Kind is not like Storage.

   $Resources | Where-Object {$_.Kind -notlike 'Storage'}``
   

5. Filter the list to show only resources with Location equals westus.

   $Resources | Where-Object {$_.Location -eq 'westus'}``
