Course Overview
(Music) Welcome to Pluralsight. My name is Jared Rhodes, and I'm an MVP for the Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform. The cloud is evolving how we deliver software. It is a big shift from the traditional way businesses think about IT resources. It brings about change in cost, speed, global scale, productivity, and performance. In this course, we will explore Microsoft Azure and its ever-expanding set of cloud services. If you already know cloud computing, then you will get a look at how to utilize Microsoft Azure as a cloud platform. If you are a beginner, you will see how to start using a cloud platform by learning how to navigate the documentation and utilize familiar tools. No matter your preferred language or framework, this course will provide you with knowledge to leverage your existing skills in Microsoft Azure. We will follow three teams from the Contoso Corporation as it begins evaluating Microsoft Azure as a cloud platform for its ongoing and new projects. Each team has its own preferred tools and languages, and you will learn how each team utilizes the Microsoft Azure documentation and the tools from Microsoft Azure. I hope you will join me as we quickly get you up to speed on identifying existing products, services, and technologies in use for Microsoft Azure.
