Course Summary

The Jakarta EE training course is designed to demonstrate how to rapidly bring existing Java programmers up-to-speed on the latest Jakarta Enterprise Edition (EE) functionally, including: Java Server Pages (JSP), JSP Standard Tag Library (JSTL), Java Server Faces (JSF), Enterprise Java Beans 3.x (EJB3), and the Java Persistence Architecture (JPA2).

The course begins with a review of the Introduction to JSF course which covers system and platform requirements as well as designing a JSF. Next, it reviews of EJB3 including when to use EJBs and creating stand alone clients that use EJB. The course concludes with a look at JPA and its capabilities.
