The WebGL training course covers how WebGL brought hardware-accelerated 3D Graphics to the Web on the back of OpenGL ES 2.0. Now, in response to changes in API design in the 3D world, the Vulcan APIs are taking over (except on macOS).
The course begins with students exploring how to use WebGL. Next, students will learn how to set up a WebGL context, how to render simple flat shapes, and how to add color to shapes using shaders. The course concludes with lessons on animating objects with WebGL, creating 3D objects, and using textures.
Students will participate in hands-on exercises and labs to solidify their learning.
