Allan Mckay

Allan McKay is an award winning Visual Effects Supervisor and Technical Director in Hollywood. working nearly 20 years for many leading studios including Industrial Light + Magic, Blur Studio, Psyop, Frantic Films, Pixomondo, Ubisoft. He's worked on Hollywood blockbusters including Star Trek 2, Superman Returns, 2012, The Last Airbender, Daybreakers, Transformers 3, Beautiful Creatures, and Flight. Recently Allan has completed work on Bungie’s upcoming ‘Destiny’, Denzel Washington's new movie "The Equalizer", Metallica's new movie, the high profile God of War - Into Ashes, as well as a piece for the Superbowl. Allan works closely with Autodesk in both presenting and contributing to their products Maya and 3D Studio Max especially when it comes to FX. Autodesk has awarded McKay in 2007 the status of Max Master, as well as being nominated and or receiving numerous awards including Oscar, Emmy's and Promax to name a few.
