Paul Ericson

Paul has been working with computer hardware and software since he was a kid. His first contact with technology was the Control Data Corporations P.L.A.T.O network. His first personal computer was a Mac Plus and he has built PCs professionally among many jobs in his long and diverse career. He attended high school at the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute where he studied Engineering and took 16 math classes. He has a degree in Philosophy from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). Through out his career he has been certified 2x as an MCSE (NT4 & 2000), a Cisco Certified Network Associate and CompTIA Security+. He has taught college level programming and networking classes as well as developing and delivering product training for Hitachi ID Systems. Lately he has been focusing on Security, DevOps and public cloud services like AWS, Azure and GCP.
