Roman Canlas is an accomplished Application Security Engineer who built a comprehensive Application Security program for a Fortune 500 company from the ground up. Leveraging his software development experience in C#/ASP.NET, Roman excels at identifying weaknesses at the code level.  Roman's expertise and years of experience are backed by industry certifications, including GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT), ISC2's Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), and EC-Council's Certified Application Security Engineer in .NET (CASE.NET). He holds academic qualifications, including a Master's degree in Information Systems and a Bachelor's in Computer Science. Roman also wrote the ASP.NET Core 5 Secure Coding Cookbook, sharing his knowledge with the broader application security community.
