Shane began learning CGI at the School of Visual Arts in 2009 and made his way into working for the visual effects industry by 2011. Although coming from a traditional art background, Shane fell in love with the technical world of lighting and render softwares. Starting as a lighting freelancer, Shane quickly developed a passion for particle effects and fluid dynamics. After graduating from the School of Visual Arts in 2013 Shane continued freelancing around Manhattan for lighting and FX. Some of his work included lighting for game cinematics in 'Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure' and simulating vortexes and tornadoes on the same project. Shortly after working on 'Skylanders', Shane landed at Framestore and then MPC, working on various commercials for visual effects. His experience working in New York motivated Shane to travel cross country to live in Los Angeles where he has worked for both MPC and Framestore.
