Hi guys, my name is Chad Troftgruben and this is Audition CC fundamentals. Audition is terrific if you want to do any type of audio editing, whether it's for a film, music, or a podcast, and in this course, we'll talk about waveform. We're going to start with the basics and if you want to expand out more, you can check out the Building on the Fundamentals course, but first we'll talk about the interface in waveform mode. You'll learn where all the tools and features are, that way you can get up and running with your own projects. Then we'll move on to importing and recording audio, and this is essential, especially when it comes to working with an audio software. Then it's on to waveforms. We'll learn how to read them and what they can do for us, and then we'll talk about trimming and editing audio, that way you can get the exact piece of audio you want from the recording. We'll talk about removing noise from audio as well as the effects rack and standalone effects. By the time you're done here, you should have a strong understanding of how to edit single files in Audition, so I hope you're ready because we're about to get started.
