What you'll learn

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 has introduced powerful new security capabilities designed to meet today’s compliance demands and tomorrow’s emerging threats. In this course, Advanced Security in RHEL 10, you’ll gain hands-on experience implementing and managing these features to strengthen your systems and data. First, you’ll learn how to implement post-quantum cryptography (PQC) to defend against future quantum computing risks. You’ll explore the importance of PQC, configure RHEL 10 to use NIST-approved quantum-resistant algorithms for TLS and SSH, and understand how these measures align with FIPS compliance. Next, you’ll master enhanced SELinux flexibility and troubleshooting tools, along with integrated compliance roles that automate adherence to standards like CIS Benchmarks and NIST 800-171. You’ll also see how the Security Select Add-On can simplify CVE fixes and streamline ongoing system hardening. Finally, you’ll configure and manage system integrity using Keylime, a remote attestation framework. You’ll discover how Keylime’s agent and verifier components work together, and how to integrate them into your security workflows to continuously validate trust in your infrastructure. By the end of this course, you will be able to implement PQC in RHEL 10 for quantum-resistant security, use SELinux improvements and automated compliance tools effectively, and deploy Keylime to maintain system integrity through remote attestation. With these skills, you’ll be equipped to take full advantage of RHEL 10’s most advanced security features, helping your organization resist evolving threats while simplifying compliance.
