Course Overview
Hi everyone. My name is Jeff Hurd, and welcome to my course, After Effects CC Color Grading. Color grading is the quickest way to take any video or film from good to great. With implementation of Lumetri Scopes and Effects inside of After Effects and Premiere Pro, it has never been easier to learn how color correct and grade your footage. In this course, we're going to color grade commercial footage and take it from a dark and unbalanced color to a nicely color-graded final product. Some of the major topics that we will cover include Lumetri Scopes and Effects, learn how to make assumptions on the footage and then confirm them with Luma and RGB scopes, color workflows from Premiere to After Effects, color selection, we'll select a certain color, such as blue from the sky, and turn it into a different color without affecting any other color in the shot, and LUTs and looks. We'll use built-in LUTs, as well as show you how to import your own third-party LUTs for you to build off of. By the end of the course, you will be able to quickly color correct and grade any of your footage, giving a professional polish and enhancing the look and feel of your final video. Before beginning the course, you should be familiar with the basics of After Effects. I hope you'll join me on this journey to learn color grading with the After Effects CC Color Grading course, at Pluralsight.
