Core AWS Services in Data Pipeline Architecture
Pipelines are the connective tissue linking data sources in organizations to the business leader that can act on the data generated by those sources. This course will teach you to build functional data pipelines using the core AWS pipeline services.
What you'll learn
Data pipelines have historically been difficult to create, cobbling together disparate systems that weren’t designed to cooperate with each other. In this course, Core AWS Services in Data Pipeline Architecture, you’ll learn to assemble key AWS services to create a coherent data pipeline. First, you’ll explore data ingestion, configuring Amazon S3 and Amazon Kinesis as data ingestion locations. Next, you’ll discover how to configure S3 Event Notification and Amazon EventBridge as tools for reacting to ingestion events. Finally, you’ll learn how to use AWS Lambda and AWS Glue to support programmatic manipulation of data and how Amazon Data Firehose enables delivery of output data in bulk to a pipeline destination. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of an AWS data pipeline architect, needed to create impactful data pipelines using the key AWS services for this use case.
