Without monitoring your cloud solutions, how do you know if they are performing to their best ability? In this course, AWS Monitoring Fundamentals, you’ll learn to identify the difference between metrics, logs, and alerts as well as configuring an existing metric with an alarm to alert you of thresholds being exceeded. First, you’ll explore what CloudWatch is. Next, you’ll discover CloudWatch metrics as well as the CloudWatch agent. Finally, you’ll learn how to create a CloudWatch alarm from an existing metric and have the alert sent to a Simple Notification Service topic. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of the fundamental areas of CloudWatch monitoring needed to monitor your cloud resources.
