Without strong authentication and authorization, everything else you do to secure your resources in AWS will be meaningless. In this course, AWS Certified Security - Specialty (SCS-C02): Identity and Access Management, you’ll gain the ability to design and implement strong access management and authorization in your AWS accounts using AWS tools. First, you’ll explore authentication using services like AWS IAM Identity Center to implement IAM users and federation. Next, you’ll discover how authorization is implemented using policies in AWS and how different policies are designed and work together to provide strong authentication. Finally, you’ll learn how to troubleshoot authentication and authorization issues so you can fine-tune and fix authentication and authorization issues. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of identity and access management in AWS needed to attempt access management questions in the SCS-CO2 certification exam and become a valuable member of an identity and access management team.
