When you’re new to Azure networking, it can be difficult to know how virtual networks, subnets, virtual machines, and security rules work together to control traffic. In this course, Ignition: Azure Networking, you’ll gain the ability to build and secure an Azure virtual network that enables controlled VM connectivity. First, you’ll explore how to create a virtual network with an appropriate address space and subnet configuration. Next, you’ll discover how to deploy virtual machines and validate basic connectivity within the network. Finally, you’ll learn how to configure network security group rules and troubleshoot blocked traffic. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of Azure virtual networking fundamentals needed to build, secure, and validate VM connectivity in Azure.
