Platform Configuration Pre-requisites In this module we're going to begin discussing platform configuration pre-requisites for Cisco Unified Communications Manager. Now what do I mean by platform configuration pre-requisites? Well specifically we're going to talk about protocols and we're going to talk about services, so let's jump in here. And network protocols are going to be things like NTP and Cisco Discovery Protocol, CDP, or LLDP, network services would be things like the domain name service, again DNS is a protocol, so we're kind of splitting here a little bit here, but any of these network protocols or services that are necessary for our endpoints to boot and ultimately register to Cisco Unified Communications Manager, which then will lead us into the following module where we start talking about configuring endpoints and users.
