Course Overview
Hey, everyone. My name is Craig Stansbury, and welcome to my course, Cisco Core Security: Securing the Cloud. I'm a network security consultant for my company, StansTech. Did you know that 94% of enterprises already use a cloud service? And cloud technology brings a new set of security challenges. In this course, we're going to learn how to secure cloud environments using various Cisco technologies. Some of the major topics that we will cover include what the cloud is and the cloud provider's security responsibility, how to use DevSecOps to automate cloud security, how to configure remote access VPNs to cloud environments using an ASA, and how to monitor our cloud environments using Stealthwatch Cloud. By the end of this course, you'll know how to secure cloud environments. Before beginning this course, you should be familiar with Cisco security concepts and Cisco VPN fundamentals. From here, you should feel comfortable diving into Cisco core security with courses on content security with Cisco WSA and Cisco Umbrella, secure network access using Cisco ISE, endpoint protection and detection with Cisco AMP, and email security with Cisco ESA. I hope you'll join me on this journey to learn cloud security with the Cisco Core Security: Securing the Cloud course at Pluralsight.
