Citrix Networking Deep Dive
This course will teach you Network, Firewall, and Security Admins how to understand the unique characteristics of Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop. This course is intended to bridge the gap between CCNA-level knowledge and Citrix technologies.
What you'll learn
Network/Firewall/Security Admins are often at odds with Citrix Admins because Citrix technologies have unique characteristics and requirements. In this course, Citrix Networking Deep Dive, you'll gain an understanding of Citrix technologies as they impact the network. First, you'll discover protocols and ports. Next, you'll explore secure remote access. Finally, you'll be presented with WAN considerations. By the end of this course, you'll not only get an overview of XenApp, XenDesktop, and NetScaler, but you'll also understand the requests from your Citrix admin.

About the author
Jo Harder has been involved with virtualization technologies for nearly 20 years, since the days of WinFrame/MetaFrame and the infancy of hypervisors. She started her technical career at Citrix in 1999, where she became a Senior Architect. Her 11-year tenure included a combination of Citrix Consulting and Technical Readiness roles. Post Citrix, Jo has taken on positions focused on consulting services and hosting provider services, as well as the creation of technical materials for various audiences. Starting in February 2015, she has been a Citrix Technology Professional awardee each year.
