Course Overview
Hi everyone. My name is Frederico Aranha, but please call me Fred. Welcome to my course, IT Governance Implementation Fundamentals. I am an independent project management and governance consultant. To implement IT governance is to work on continual improvement, but to do so, you need to master a process reference model and a process assessment model, and I'm going to teach you that. This course's main objective is to teach you both the COBIT5 implementation lifecycle, because COBIT is the number one IT governance framework in the world, as well to teach the COBIT5 process assessment model. Some of the major topics that we will cover include the COBIT IT governance implementation lifecycle, process capability levels, process performance attributes, the COBIT5 process assessment model, the process reference model in detail, and a step-by-step approach to both process assessment and IT governance implementation. By the end of the course, you will have a complete understanding of what IT governance is and how it can be assessed and implemented. From here, continue your learning by taking our last course in this path, Preparing for the COBIT5 Foundation Exam, and become a COBIT5 certified professional. I hope you will join me in this journey and learn with me to put COBIT5 and IT governance into practice through process assessment and the COBIT5 implementation lifecycle steps.
