My name is Vlad Catrinescu, and I'll be your instructor for this course. In this module, we'll dig deeper into cloud computing and look at how it's used in the real world. The first thing we'll do in this module is learn more in detail how the cloud infrastructure works. We will then investigate more in detail into the main types of cloud offerings. So we will look at Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Software as a Service more in detail, as well as a few examples, of course. Lastly, we'll look at a topic which is both for the private cloud and a public cloud and touches a lot of virtualization module we have just finished. So we will look at virtual desktop and virtual application streaming.
