First, you’ll explore the different options available to style your map including adding a dark theme. You'll also enable users to filter location data by drawing regions of interest on the map. Next, you'll leverage Google Street View to create a more immersive experience. You’ll also discover how to add additional data about locations to your app using the Google Maps Platform Places API. Finally, you’ll learn how to allow users to record their GPS tracks including their route, distance, and duration. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of Android development using Kotlin needed to build advanced location-aware features.
