Introduction and Project Overview
Hi everyone. My name is Christopher Kao. I'm a professional game designer having worked with EA, Cartoon Network, Ubisoft, and DEFY Media in the past. Some of my past projects include Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends on the DS, Atlantis on Facebook, the My Coach series on DS, PSP, and iOS, and Zombie Parkour Runner on iOS. In this course, we're going to learn how to properly design a mobile game by writing a game design document. Some of the key takeaways from watching this course include learning the purpose of the game design document and who should be using it, learning how to properly structure the game design document, learning proper flow charting techniques for game design, learning proper wire framing techniques for game design, and learning key differences on designing mobile games versus games for other platforms. By the end of the training, you will have learned how to properly design a mobile game by using a game design document. I'm excited to work with Digital-Tutors and share these techniques with you. So let's get started with the first lesson.
