Course Overview (Tool Introduction)
Welcome to Pluralsight and this Red Team Tools course featuring Kismet, the open source discovery tool developed and maintained by Mike Kershaw, also known as @dragorn. Kismet is a great wireless scanner allowing you to gather information about the networks around you. Because it is passive, with the right hardware it will let you quietly scope wireless networks. It can even be distributed to multiple different radios or even scanners so you can scan all channels at the same time. If Kismet means your destiny, then your destiny is to come and join me as we use Kismet to discover Wi‑Fi networks, Bluetooth devices, and more.
