Course Overview Hi everyone! My name is Josh Kittle, and welcome to my course on Fundamentals for CICD, Exam Number 210-060. I've been working with Cisco Collaborations technologies since the early 2000s. As the first course in a multi-part series that we're producing, we're going to help introduce you to fundamentals of Cisco IP telephony as you prepare for the CICD Certification exam. Some of the major topics we're going to include are traditional voice transport and fundamentals, basics of IP telephony. We're going to talk about each of the unified communications solution components that make up the overall Cisco Collaboration suite of applications. And we're going to explore Cisco IP phone basics and the telephone registration process. By the end of this course, you'll be well on your way to preparing for the Cisco CICD Certification examination. Before beginning this course, you should be familiar with basic telephony and basic Cisco routing and switching at roughly the CCNA level. If you do not have a CCNA, equivalent experience will be tremendously useful to you as you prepare to learn about IP telephony. I hope you'll join me on this journey to learn Collaboration technologies with the Fundamentals for CICD course at Pluralsight.
