Running a container image is the easy part. Deploying it correctly, keeping it healthy under real traffic, and knowing when a managed container service stops being the right fit are what separate a working demo from a production-ready system. In this course, Google Cloud Container Compute Operations, you'll gain the ability to deploy and operate containerized workloads on Cloud Run with confidence in production environments. First, you'll explore how to deploy a containerized workload as a Cloud Run service, including defining the deployment specification, distinguishing deployer identity from runtime identity, and confirming the service reaches a healthy serving state. Next, you'll discover how to operate a running service, monitor its behavior, roll out new revisions without disruption, and diagnose and recover from common failures like image-pull errors and unhealthy endpoints. Finally, you'll learn how to evaluate when a Cloud Run service is the right compute primitive for a workload and when a workload's team maturity, scaling, networking, or portability needs justify moving to Google Kubernetes Engine instead. When you're finished with this course, you'll have the skills and knowledge of Google Cloud Container Compute Operations needed to confidently deploy, operate, troubleshoot, and evaluate containerized workloads in production environments.
