In this course, Google Cloud Network Fundamentals, you'll build a practical working model of Google Cloud networking by completing a real VPC connectivity pattern from design to verification. First, you'll explore how VPC networks, subnets, IP addresses, routes, and firewall rules each play a distinct role in moving traffic through Google Cloud. Next, you'll discover how to configure a basic VPC and subnet structure and confirm that intended traffic flows while unintended traffic is blocked. Then, you'll learn how to recognize and correct the most common network misconfigurations that break connectivity. Finally, you'll differentiate foundational VPC behavior from more advanced Google Cloud connectivity patterns, so you know when a simple VPC is enough and when a workload calls for something more.

When you're finished, you'll have the practical foundation needed to reason about, build, and troubleshoot basic network connectivity in Google Cloud with confidence.
