Introduction and Project Overview
Hey everyone, my name is David Elliot. I am an illustrator, painter and retoucher, and I have worked with a handful of casual game companies and advertising agencies here in New York City, Including most recently, HiFiGame and Arcadium. I also paint and do freelance illustration and retouching. In this course, we're going to learn how to incorporate some retouching skills to help with our illustration of the classic propaganda poster. Some of the key takeaways from watching this course include learning how to use curves, to burn and dodge, as well as to color correct. How to use vector and pixel mass, and how to manipulate a figure using the liquefy feature and to composite a figure using multiple images. We're also going to learn how to use the healing brush and spot tool and some general painting techniques. By the end of the training, you will learn how to composite and illustrate a dynamic propaganda poster of your own. I am very happy to have the opportunity to work with Digital Tutors, and to share with you what I have learned. So please sign or sign up, and let's get started.
