Course Overview Hello everybody, and welcome to my course, Integrating AWS Networks with Application Services. My name is Andy Dyrcz, and I'm a principal architect for Linkfire. I get to design and secure systems that are helping people discover music all over the world. On a global level, we handle a lot of web traffic, and it wouldn't be possible to serve all of our visitors reliably and securely without the use of AWS's infrastructure to get it done. Amazon Web Services provide nearly all of the infrastructure we need to serve our content. Whether it's distributing static content on a global scale or helping distributed network loads across resources, AWS helps by providing all of the networking tools and managed services we need to get our jobs done and keep our customers happy. While this course is designed to prepare you for domain 4 of the AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty exam, we will focus on best practices integrating your networks with AWS Managed Services. We'll begin with some basic networking topics like DHCP and DNS, but we'll quickly move in to AWS specific networking. We'll go through elastic load balancing, CDNs, and even dig into some special requirements which are unique to a few of the AWS services. By the end of this course, you will be familiar with all of the networking requirements specific to working with AWS services and be ready to ace this section of the exam. Alright, let's get started. I hope you're as excited as I am as we begin this journey of Integrating AWS Networks with Application Services.
