Introduction and Project Overview Hi everyone. My name is Jason Cox. I'm an Adobe and Apple certified instructor, as well as a freelance video editor with my own LLC Some Might Say Media. I produce videos for the likes of the Smithsonian Institute, HP, the American Running Association, among many others, and helped countless organizations and companies get up and running with Adobe Premiere Pro. In this course, we are going to learn about the basics of Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015, from adjusting media from a camera, all the way to sharing your videos with your audience. Some of the key takeaways from watching this course include learning how to set up a project in Premiere Pro, and import media, take selected portions of clips and create rough cuts of video, add B-roll, the music beds to spice up our videos. Add a few extras, such as titles, transitions, and a few practical effects to our media. And finally, export and share our creations with the world. By the end of the training, you will have a great foundational understanding of how to operate Premiere Pro and produce your own professional-looking projects. I'm looking forward to sharing these tips, tricks, and techniques with you. So let's get started with the first lesson.
